Sithara Entertainments is known to be remaking the Malayalam film 'Kappela' in Telugu. S Naga Vamsi produces the film, which is directed by debutant Shourie Chandrashekhar T Ramesh. It was announced in July and features Tamil actor Arjun Das from the film 'Master.' According to reports, Anikha Surendran is a front-runner for the female lead role in the remake. Shivathmika Rajasekhar, the Rajasekhar-Jeevitha duo's daughter, was previously considered for the part. However, Anikha is now being considered by the producers.
